WHAT‘S COOKING? ist eine seriell angelegte, kuratorische Um–ordnung. Die offene 50-Std.-Nonstop-Versammlung richtet sich auf spekulative, diskursive und transdisziplinäre Prozesse.

WHAT‘S COOKING? zielt auf aktives, individuelles Involvement, relationale Strategien und mögliche Kollaborationen und versteht das Unvorhersehbare als seine Bedingung.

WHAT‘S COOKING? fordert zum gleichzeitigen Produzieren, Präsentieren, Reflektieren und Kollaborieren auf und versammelt  Positionen aus den Feldern bildende Kunst, künstlerischer Aktivismus, Theorie sowie des Kuratierens.

WHAT‘S COOKING? experimentiert mit alternativen kuratorischen Ordnungen mittels Gesten der Überstürzung, Übertretung und Übertreibung.

WHAT‘S COOKING? beginnt zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt und endet zu einem unbestimmten.

WHAT‘S COOKING? is a series of curatorial re-arrangements. Built as an open 50-hours nonstop gathering, it focuses on speculative, discoursive and transdisciplinary processes.

WHAT‘S COOKING? aims for active individual involvement, relational strategies, possible collaborations and understands the unforeseeable as its prerequisite.

WHAT‘S COOKING? calls for simultaneous production, presentation, reflection and collaboration and is this time featuring positions ranging from fine arts, artistic activism, theory and curating.

WHAT‘S COOKING? is experimenting with alternative curatorial orders fueled by gestures of precipitancy, transgression, and exaggeration.

WHAT‘S COOKING? starts at a certain point in time but its end is undefined.

WHAT’S COOKING? versammelt 12 Positionen der bildenden Kunst, der Kunsttheorie, des Kuratierens sowie transdisziplinäre Interventionen, die einen interagierenden, relationalen, oder partizipativen Charakter aufweisen und sich aktiv mit dokumentarischen Strategien auseinandersetzen. Die rund 50-stündige Nonstop- Versammlung fordert zum gleichzeitigen Produzieren, Dokumentieren und Präsentieren auf und erweitert Spielräume, um aktiv über Präsenz, Involviertsein und Simultaneität zu reflektieren.

WHAT’S COOKING? versteht das Unvorhersehbare und den Zufall als seine Bedingung. Kuratorisch von zentraler Bedeutung ist das Schaffen von Situationen, innerhalb derer vielstimmiges Handeln den Diskurs unmittelbar initiiert.

WHAT’S COOKING? überführt ephemere, zeitgebundene Kunstformen in aktive Dokumentationsprozesse.

WHAT’S COOKING? experimentiert mit alternativen kuratorischen Ordnungen und bricht mittels sich stetig neu fügender Kollaborationen und den Gesten der Überstürzung, Übertretung, und Übertreibung einem andauernden und prozesshaften Um-ordnen die Bahn.

WHAT’S COOKING? features twelve artistic positions from the fine arts, art theory, and curating as well as transdisciplinary interventions that bear interactive, relational, and participative characteristics and engage in active documentary strategies. the approximate 50-hour nonstop-gathering calls for simultaneous production, documentation, and presentation in order to broaden dimensions that allow us to reflect actively on presence, involvement, and
simultaneity.

WHAT’S COOKING? understands the unforeseeable and coincidence as its prerequisites. From a curatorial point of view, it is of vital importance to foster situations where concerted action initiates immediate discourse.

WHAT’S COOKING? tranfers ephemeral, time based artistic formats in active processes of documentation.
